8 Months!!

Thats right, I'm 8 months old today!! People say I am looking bigger! I can't see in the mirror but some of my clothes seem to be tighter, shorter, and harder to get over my head =) Luckily mommy has been on the hunt for clothes that fit better and are warmer for the fall. It's been pretty chilly here lately. It's also been rainy all week which means that Nanny and I haven't been able to get outside too much. In fact, yesterday Nanny and I had a "PJ day". She let me stay in my PJs all day and we just played at the house, cuddled, and napped. It was nice but I sure do hope that the weather is nicer next week so that we can get out. I miss the zoo.

I still don't have any teeth, but there seems to maybe be one that wants to come through on the bottom. Hopefully soon! I have moved to Stage 3 foods and for the most part I really like them. There are some very strange flavors but for the most part they are yummy! I can eat the whole 6 ounce jar in one setting! I also love my mum-mums and puffs!! They are a great snack when I wake up from my afternoon nap! I am also talking a lot more than I used to. My favorite thing to say is "Da-Da". I think Daddy really likes it when I say that =) Nanny has been helping me work on saying "Ma-Ma" so that Mommy will be really excited!

Week 4

Well this week was pretty low key. Mommy and Daddy have had crazy hours this week and Nanny has come early several days. She's let me stay in my PJs a little longer on these mornings and we snuggle on the couch. The highlight of my week this week was going to see Mommy at work! I really think what Mommy does is cool! There were so many machines and montiors, it looks complicated but I know my Mommy is super smart =) She got to show me off to all of her friends. Nanny kept tickling me to make me laugh and show off my qute smile to all the ladies =) Unfortunately Nanny forgot her camera (have I mentioned she's silly?!?) and I didn't get any pictures with Mommy. Nanny says it will be a good excuse to go back sometime.
I guess my other big news this week is that I have graduated to Stage 2 baby foods and I have to say, its been....yummy! Stage 2 is a whole new world for me! There are so many different flavors and some that I am used to are mixed together! I really like it and always try to eat it all up!
Nanny and I went to the zoo today (Friday). It was a lot cooler than it has been most of the week so she said we could play outside a little longer. Here are a few pictures of me from the zoo this week!!

Week 3

whew, I am so sorry that I haven't written in a couple of weeks. I'm so popular and there are so many people that want to spend time with me that its hard to find time for my writing. This particular week was busy for me.. here are some photos from my week:

This kiddie pool is so neat! Nanny puts me in this float and I can walk around on my own.

Nanny says there wasn't enough light in the room for this picture, but she really wanted to show you how I can pull myself up now.

Nanny really doesn't like that she is in this picture but I convinced her to put it up because I wanted to show off my new water shoes.

This was my first trip to the zoo with Nanny, and the highlight of my week! Nanny kept calling me zoolander all day =)

This is my new friend Luke. I like him a lot and he helps take good care of me.

By this point I was hot and tired but still had to get a shot with the Giraffe! He was so tall, I can't wait to grow big and tall just like him! (Do you see the baby giraffe above my head??)

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Well today is my Mommy's birthday! Happy Birthday Mommy- I sure do love you a whole bunch! Nanny and I have had a pretty low key week. We went to the grocery store, went to have a play date with some of nanny's friends (she's silly and forgot to bring the camera), and went to hobby lobby (so not a boy store!) Its been super hot this week so we didn't get to go on any walks.

In other news, now that I'm crawling I am keeping people much busier! I love to go after shoes, magazines, the fireplace... basically all those things that I'm not supposed to get into... they just seem so neat though.

Nanny is constantly trying to look in my mouth.. I think she is looking for a tooth. I drool everywhere these days but still no teeth yet. I will be sure to let you know when we see my first pearly white =)

Well thats all for this week except for a few pictures! I'm off to VA with Mommy this weekend so she can show me off to friends and family!

Six Months

In case you didn't know.. Saturday was kind of a big day for me, I turned 6 months old!! I am really getting big and am pretty happy all the time! Here is a little bit about me at 6 months:

I weigh 17lbs and 1 ounce

I am 27 inches tall

I am really enjoying new solid foods! Here are some of my favorites right now:

I have a new nanny who loves me a whole bunch! We have had a lot of fun getting to play, go for walks, and swim together!
